Lopez Island Physical Therapy

As many of you may know, Scott Allred at Lopez Island Physical Therapy and his wife are expecting their second child soon. He will soon be taking a three month leave of absence to be with his family and bond with their new child. To avoid a gap in care for the Lopez Island community, a temporary physical therapist, Sarah Ellis, will be providing service April 22nd - July 13th. We are very grateful to Catherine Washburn Medical Association for subsidizing her housing and to the Lopez Island Hospital district for their continued financial support. We look forward to welcoming Sarah to our community and working with her.
A brief intro from Sarah:
My name is Sarah Ellis, I’m from Atlanta, GA and I have been practicing PT for over three years now. I began traveling over a year ago after being full time in an inpatient rehab hospital. Since then, I have worked at a level 2 trauma center in Georgia and in a rural outpatient near the Navajo reservation in Arizona. I embarked on the travel lifestyle as there is so much I have yet to see in this country, but I have also been able to learn from all of my coworkers, explore many new places, and meet so many amazing people. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, dancing, live music, and delicious food. I am so excited to see what Lopez island has to offer. I can’t wait to meet you all!
