Learn more about plants by sketching them with instruction from PhD botanist and botanical artist Linda Ann Vorobik.
Spending a weekend learning about and sketching plants is great way to learn the basics of their form and how to best draw them. Gardeners, botanists, artists, & field journalists can all benefit from this fun weekend.
Because every good botanical watercolor or botanical illustration begins with accurate pencil sketches, the best way to have a really good botanical art piece is to start with a really good drawing! Here you will learn about the various parts of plants, and variety of parts, and how to draw them. I will bring in material which shows many different kinds of leaves, stems, flowers and fruits. $160 for the weekend, contact Linda at vorobik@gmail.com
