Lopez Island Academy provides our curriculum through the accredited A Beka Academy Master Video Program, which includes teachers monitoring classes and helping students with bookwork. We support cooperation with the public school to provide additional academic and athletic opportunities. Funding for the academy comes from student tuition and from a variety of private donations.
Lopez Island Academy is a private non-profit organization (501-3C) formed to give the students on Lopez Island the option of an alternative style of education. We are supported by tax deductible donations, tuition, and volunteers. If you would like to help promote traditional Christian education on Lopez Island with your time or financial support, please let us know.
Lopez Island Academy offers education to grades 1 thru 12. We purchase our curriculum through the accredited (MSA CESS and FACCS) A Beka Academy Master Video Program. A Beka Academy (501C-3 non-profit) has produced books and programs for over 40 years. The curriculum is designed to provide the highest academic standards, with a foundation of Christian beliefs and values. We work with the public school to provide additional academic and athletic opportunities.
