I have internet and phone through RockIsland. In the past two weeks i've lost my streaming, printing, and many of my internet searches are failing. I called Rock Island yesterday and they said they now charge for a service call to Lopez, which I think is just wrong. During the call my phone went out as well. What other options do we have for wi-fi service on Lopez Island?

Sorry to hear you are having Wi-Fi problems.
The alternatives include Starlink which uses satalittes instead of cell towers. Yachts and RV s use Starlink because it is available everywhere. It is about $95 month but check that price on their web page.
Regarding your problem…..
Always try rebooting the router and devices as a no brainer first step.
After rebooting test your Wi-Fi speed by going to your browser and type in this link.

That link will give you a free download speed test.
Test only takes a minute and is dependable.
It will give you an accurate answer to your actual Wi-Fi performance. If your speed is in the normal range there maybe other problems.
