Scotch Broom Removal Work Party

Join us Tuesday, May 14, at 9:30 am to remove scotch broom along Burt Road. The group cleared broom from Burt Road last year and will now do a sweep of the road to remove any new seedlings or missed plants. Overall, Burt Road looks great but it is important to be catch new plants.
If there is time, we will move to Bayshore Dr. and clear a small broom patch along the south shore of Fisherman's Bay.
Meet at Burt Road at 9:30 and park on the roadside near the bus turn around. Bring loppers,if you have them, gloves, and water.
The Lopez Scotch Broom team meets the second Tuesday of every month to eradicate broom along the Lopez roadsides. Please join us, we would love to see you!
