Amazon states a pkg I ordered was delivered on Oct.30 to "a parcel locker". I have had lots of deliveries to my Lopez address w/o problem before.
If you received a pkg (26 lbs) addressed to me, please contact me via email. I have contacted Air Freight on Lopez and Friday Harbor.

To those frustrated by current changes in package delivery of Amazon purchases there is a very helpful opinion letter in the Orcasonian by
Rebecca McDonough. The Washington Post 11/28 also has an article about the contract Amazon has with USPS for the expensive last mile delivery in rural areas.

I was told by a mail delivery person that if you’re expecting an Amazon package, and it says “out for delivery”, the packages arrive at the post office in the early morning and you can pick them up before 10 AM at the post office.

Update: the PO notified me that as of a few weeks ago, all Amazon pkgs are now delivered the PO and not to physical addresses. My pkg labeled "delivered to a parcel locker" is waiting for me to pick up at the PO.

My 22 lb of cat food order was delivered as well to a "parcel locker" on the same day. Where the heck is the parcel locker? I don't want to suffer the wrath of 3 cats...
