Two measures on the ballot:
1. San Juan County
Proposition No. 1 - Regular Property Tax Levy Lid Lift
If approved, this proposition would authorize a levy lid lift resulting in a levy for collection in 2027 in the amount of $0.85 per $1,000 assessed value to support critical health, safety, and vital public services.
2. Lopez Island Park & Recreation District
Proposition No. 1 - Levy
This proposition would impose a regular
property tax levy of not more than 23 cents
per $1,000 of assessed valuation for six years
beginning in 2027, for the purpose of funding
Lopez Rec programs, services and operations,
including but not limited to funding the Lopez
School sports program and after-school and
summer programming for youth.
