Re-elect Steven Greenstein to the Lopez Island Hospital District Board
Oct 22, 2025
By Steven Greenstein
My name is Steven Greenstein, and I'm asking for your vote to continue serving on the Lopez Island Hospital District Board.
I have been honored to serve as Lopez Island Hospital District Commissioner #2 for over 5 years. As a commissioner and a member of the Financial Committee, I am dedicated to ensuring the fiscal health and long-term sustainability of our local healthcare services.

My career spans more than four decades in leadership roles in multimillion dollar companies, including Western Region Business Director for an International Manufacture. I then joined a local multimillion dollar manufacturer as Vice President responsible for revenue gain and profitability. I was also a financial partner in a Primary Care Clinic in the Puget Sound area for five years consulting in financial and Information Technology (IT) support. I administrated the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for the Primary Care Clinic. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in Primary Care financial management, Medical Records Management and operational oversight.

On Lopez Island, I have actively been involved in community service as a liaison to the Lopez Island Fire District Board of Commissioners, the Catherine Washburn Medical Association, and as Dockmaster for our Homeowners Association.

As a permanent resident of Lopez Island, I am deeply committed to supporting the healthcare services that are vital for our community’s well-being. I appreciate the opportunity to work with all of you to ensure that our healthcare system remains strong, accessible, and responsive to the needs of every Lopez Island resident.

I feel we need to stay on course with our current commissioners for continuity and our vast experience in selecting a new provider and managing public funds. With the University of Washington leaving at the end of June, 2026, a leadership change of the current commissioners would be disruptive.

I would appreciate your vote!
