Our 2025 Lopez Island Salish Sea Early Music Festival offers a diverse series of programs spanning three centuries (1525 through 1835).
It features exciting artists new to SSEMF who come from Kyiv (Ukrainian harpsichordist Olena Zhukova), California (violinist Elisabeth Blumenstock), Switzerland (Spanish harpsichordist Irene Roldan), Montreal (viola da gambist Melisande Corriveau), Baltimore (theorbo player William Simms) and Washington, DC (viol virtuoso Tina Chancey), alongside favorite harpsichordists Elisabeth Wright (Bloomington), Bernward Lohr (Hannover) and David Schrader (Chicago), recorder player Vicki Boeckman (Seattle), violist Lindsey Strand Polyak (Whidbey Island), violinists Anne Roehrig (Hannover), Elizabeth Phelps (Seattle) and Courtney Kurroda (Los Angeles), bassoonist Anna Marsh (Tacoma), viola da gambists Caroline Nicolas (New York City) and Susie Napper (Montreal), and guitarist Oleg Timofeyev (Chicago).
