Gathering of the Eagles Canoe Journey at Odlin

The Gathering of the Eagles Canoe Journey returning to Lopez Island on Sunday, May 21st!
You are invited! Please join us to welcome tribal canoes to Lopez Island this Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2:30 to 8:00pm. Events will be at Odlin Park and Lopez Community Center for the Arts.

Event Schedule:
Canoe Landing Ceremony at Odlin Park, 3 pm (be on the beach by 3)
Community Potluck, 5 pm, at Lopez Community Center, followed by Ceremony, Story-Telling and Cultural Exchange.
For the potluck, Please bring a yummy food item to share and your own dishes.
Canoes will leave mid-morning on Monday, (5/22) to paddle through the islands, traveling ancestral highways to end at Lummi Nation for potlach, celebration and solidarity over the weekend of 5/26-28.
