Ask the Council to Allow Tiny Homes

Tell the County Council to Consider the Tiny House Recommendation from the Housing Advisory Committee
In the face of rapidly rising costs of rentals, home ownership, and building costs, Tiny Houses offer one of the few viable options. A clear legal framework, in alignment with what has already been passed by the Washington State legislature, will enable community stakeholders to invest resources in exploring Tiny Houses and TH Community development. This proposal isn’t going to solve the housing crisis, but it is a logical step to take that could have immediate positive impact on our community and local economy.
We are already out of time. It is imperative that the County Council act quickly so that stakeholders can move forward in earnest as soon as possible with the development of legally permitted Tiny Houses for both seasonal and year-round living.
