Come celebrate the school’s 85th Anniversary Oct 9 & 10
September 8, 2026
Save the date and come celebrate with us! The Lopez Island School District is celebrating our 85th Anniversary on the weekend of October 9 and 10.
We would love to see lots of alumni, former teachers and staff, and volunteers and family members - as well as the entire Lopez Island community - come join in the fun over the weekend.
Multiple opportunities to join in over Friday and Saturday. All are free - with the exception of lunch at the school which is only $6. The chef is planning something special that day so it will most certainly be worth the modest cost!
Planned events - details will be finalized closer to date:
Friday, October 9:
School tours & pep assembly
Lunch at the school
Home sports games - Varsity girls and boys soccer, Varsity Volleyball
Evening social at the Islander
Saturday, October 10
Lawn party at the school - carnival games, pick-up soccer, vendors
“Dance through the Decades” Dance Party at Woodman Hall. All ages!
