Palmscale .01g -- not working

This is a long shot.
My Palmscale used for jewelry making/precise measurements is not working. It's been kept in a cool/dry place. New batteries in but the scale doesn't turn on.
If there are any scale-heads out there who want to take a look and help fix I'll gladly pay you the price of a new one to fix it.
