Calling for 2025 Lopez Spirit Award Nominations!

The Spirit Award Committee is seeking nominations for the 2025 Lopez Spirit Award recipient(s).
The folks who have received the award in years past were dedicated to community volunteerism in various ways; visioning and building the Community Center, starting the KLOI community radio station, farming, sharing music, facilitating community celebrations, being great neighbors and volunteers and the list goes on and on!
The Lopez Spirit Award, is sponsored and given by the Community Center to a Lopez individual, couple or partners, who have consistently improved the lives of Lopezians through their volunteerism. These folks give to the community in extraordinary ways: unselfishly, reliably, lovingly, with tolerance and integrity.
Who comes to mind for you for 2025 for this sweet award? Let us know! The Community Center is now accepting nominations until February 20.
The Award Recipient(s) will be selected in March followed by a Community Celebration in late spring! We also encourage you to think of how you'd like to be involved in creating the celebration if your nominee is selected.
