I'd like to understand the three different medi vac services/memberships offered to us islanders. I am a member of Island Air and Airlift NW. Then there's Life Flight Network as well. What do folks know about the differences and necessities? I know Airlift is the one we see the most who use helicopters and that Island Air offers a fixed wing air service. What is the need for Life Flight on top of those two? Thx for your help.

I'm probably the outlier on the island...
If you have Medicare, it will cover all or most of the expenses. If you have secondary insurance, it will likely pick up whatever Medicare doesn't.
