Roku?

I've been having trouble with my streaming services all winter. Netflix completely disappeared for my TV about 6 weeks ago (though I can still watch on my laptop, which I don't like to do). I got the idea of getting a ROKU to see if it could solve my problems. I thought I connected it, but I only get a start/language screen and that's it. Neither of my remotes (TV and ROKU) work at all with the ROKU. Is there anyone who can help me?

A 10 year old TV should not be a problem. I could take a look but not until the end of the month.

I am thinking that, because of technology, I may just have to buy a new updated TV, Mine is fast coming up on 10 years old. Time flies...

I can try to get it working. I sent you a message through Facebook Messenger to set up a time.
We have Amazon Fire Stick. Never had a problem with it as long as Centurylink is working.
