Found a dead owl on our property. No signs of trauma, or cause of death.

He is boxed and ready for porch p/u.

We usually take our dead specimens to the Burke Museum at the University of Washington. They use them for skins or DNA analysis, and are happy to have them as they don't have a lot of specimens from this area. Just pop the owl in a ziplock bag and put it in your freezer until someone going to Seattle can drop it off.

Kwaiut is a good local choice if they want it.
