Makers and Farmers are invited to share their needs and learn about the new Lopez Chapter of the Makers Guild.
Artists, Artisans, Growers, Designers, Authors and Performers invited. The Visioning Circle helps the Makers Guild learn about your needs, and welcomes your input about programs and grants we can foster for the Lopez Community.
Maker Fairs, Farm Worker Housing Pilot, Cultural Events, Art and Farm fun - what would you like to see available in your community? Tool share? Small business support?
Learn about how the Guild has helped Chicaoji expand its markets, collaborated with Locavores, Watmough Bay and Midnight Farms, and promoted Barn Owl Bakery, Vortex, Caldera Glass, Studio 45, Harpswear Textiles, North Star Farm, Arbordoun and other island businesses and organizations.
Come share and learn this Sunday at the Library, 2-4pm.
