This year’s theme, “Growing Resilience,” calls us to deepen our collective response to climate, land, and economic challenges�"and to celebrate what’s possible when island communities come together to strengthen local agriculture, food, fiber, and beyond. Keynote speaker for 2026 will be farmer, author, and educator, Helen Atthowe. A national leader in ecological farming, Helen brings more than 35 years of experience linking food systems, conservation, and soil health. Her recent book, The Ecological Farm, offers a visionary yet practical guide to no-till, no-spray, living-mulch systems that work in partnership with nature.
