Katherine is Grateful for the Landslide & Ready for the Work Ahead!
August 20, 2026
From Katherine Bryant Ingman for SJI County Council
Following the certification of the primary, I want to thank every voter across San Juan County who took the time to participate in this election. San Juan County continues to show what engaged, active citizenship looks like, and I'm grateful to be part of a community that takes local government seriously.
I'm honored that my home district, District 3, backed my campaign in a landslide victory, winning by over 26%. Where people know the candidates best, they made a very clear choice. Through years of living, working, and building relationships on Lopez Island, I've earned that trust, and it means everything to me.
At the same time, I recognize there is more work ahead. My relationship with voters across the rest of San Juan County isn't yet what it is with my Lopez Island neighbors, and I'm committed to earning that same familiarity and trust throughout every part of our county between now and the general election in November.
Thank you for your support and thank you for engaging in this process. I look forward to continuing these conversations with all of San Juan County in the months ahead.
