Hi, we have an active case with San Juan County (SJI) and are getting zero response from them. I would LOVE for anyone who reads this and has information on what's happening there to let me know.

It has been almost 11 months of one-sided communication, and now I'm getting no response at all. This case involves an adult man and a minor victim. You would think that would be enough to warrant a phone call back. A follow-up email. Anything.

Instead, silence. From the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. On a case involving a minor.

If anyone has dealt with this office, knows who's currently handling victim communications there, or has any insight into what's going on, please reach out. At this point I'm not asking for special treatment, I'm asking for the bare minimum: for someone to pick up the phone.

Grace, I had NO idea. I am so very sorry. That's honestly unbelievable!! I did find the right person, he is new and I have talked with him. Big hugs to you and Eli both as I know you've been through h*ll.

The prosecutor, is it still Therese’s Barnett, kept stalling and pushing back trial date until she finally dropped a case where an adoptive mother tortured her child for 9 years.
