James Nowak is a local expert who has had workshops at the library about Mushroom id and foraging. I took the class that was about 2 years ago. Maybe you could inquire with the library, they may be able to coordinate another workshop? I have heard some other people say they are interested

I'm likewise VERY interested in being educated about the various wild mushrooms on Lopez and would be more than happy to pay to be part of a small group guided by someone who is knowledgeable.
