Anyone know a good, local wood stove person? I want ours checked for safety and to have the gaskets/seals repaired. Thanks!

This past summer I had Chimney Technologies (Jason Ulrich)replace some parts in my 28 year old Lopi Endeavor stove wood stove. My stove now works remarkably better than it ever (in my memory) has before, and I highly recommend Jason's work.

Merle's Chimney Care in Friday Harbor installed our wood stove this week. I tried working with Craft first, but the installer I spoke with said he does not plan to return to Lopez this year. William with Merle was very nice and knowledgeable. He said he comes to Lopez every week. Good luck!

I have used Chimney Technologies to service my stove and have been pleased with their work. They do come to Lopez Island during certain times of the year.

I’ve heard that Smoke Stack Services on Orcas is good (https://www.smokestackservices.com/).
I’ve also heard that Craft Stove in Mt Vernon comes to the island and does good work (https://www.craft-stove.com/).
