Middle East Study Group Recommendations
We've posted these several times in the past, but feel the need to post them again.
These are our recommendations at this time:
-In every conflict there are at least two sides. In most cases, both sides bear some responsibility for the situation. If there is not some acknowledgement of this shared responsibility in media pertaining to this, we consider it biased.
-If the media does not reference or connect to a roadmap to peace in some form, but instead basically advocates endless enmity and violence, we consider it to be hurting rather than helping. This can be as simple as promoting respect and reconciliation, which many people feel must be the only path forward.
By media we mean: books, articles, talks, posters, events, movies, videos, etc.
