Got Camera?? Will Shoot! Will Process! Will Share!

There’s no doubt about it - photography is an inspiring hobby! Your camera calls to you to get up, get out and move, scouting out subjects to shoot. You can make photo that you enjoy while also having the chance to share your discoveries with others. The Lopez camera club (LIPS) offers you the best of both worlds. This is a group of photographers whose abilities range from the beginner to the professional. Photographers learn constantly by sharing and doing so this is the place to be .

Once a month our group gathers at the Lopez library meeting room on the third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. to learn, exchange ideas, and share our photos. We have a different theme we follow each month giving us a focus for our photographic energies. We bring our photos on a thumb drive and share them with others. It’s everyone’s favorite activity. Sometimes we have a speaker or a field trip. We have also hosted several public exhibits showcasing our photographs.

The theme for this month is “Photograph a Pet.” Come join us. No reservation required. Bring in a thumb drive with a couple of photos to share, or just come and enjoy the experience of being with fellow photographers and appreciating their pictures. For more information, call
