Learning to Play Bridge, Week 2 of 5 (Education, Instruction)
Library Community Room, Lopez Island
July 22, 2018, 6:30pm

If you've never played bridge before, but you enjoy other trick-taking card games like Spades, Hearts or Pinochle, here's your chance to learn an amazing game that has been played popularly for over 100 years. The organizers will provide a patient and fun learning environment to share their love of the game. Also a great opportunity to brush up your skills, if you learned a long time ago but have forgotten (most) everything. Each session will highlight a different aspect of the game (game overview, basic bidding, declarer play, defensive play, fancy bidding) but also provide open-hand learning and practice hands. Whether you want to learn a new game to play with family and friends, or you want to take a first step towards competitive play, this is the class for you!

Week 2 Focus: Basic Bidding
