Hailing from Tasmania, virtuoso mandolinist Luke Plumb (former member of Scottish supergroup Shooglenifty) and Victoria, Australia singer guitarist Peter Daffy draw upon an extensive repertoire, ranging from croon classics such as Hoagy Carmichael's "Up A Lazy River" and Leon Redbone's "Te Na Na" to edgy rockers such as Nick Cave's "Spell" and Talking Heads' "Slippery People," as well as traditional Scottish and Irish tunes and original compositions- all delivered with fresh perspective and inventive musical interplay. On a first U.S. tour as a duo, with their CD, "Peter Daffy and Luke Plumb" (Shoogle Records, 2011) in hand, Lopez Island's Stanley Greenthal joins them on a couple of sets for this one of a kind concert. Don't miss these two musicians at the top of their musical game!
