Just bought a property on Mud Bay (Islandale Road) and looking or internet/tv options. Rock Island says they can't help me and Century Link is 3mbps. Anyone have suggestions and best options? Thanks.

Sounds like a lot of folks in the Islandale area, including myself, would really like faster internet. Does anyone know if Rock Island is still expanding the fiber network on Lopez or are they done?

Hi Dee Dee. Pretty sure the lot we purchased is next door to you. Thanks for the feedback and look forward to meeting you.

I live on Mud Bay at the end of Islandale. When Century Link (dsl)works, I usually get close to 10 mbps. The operative phrase "is when it works". It usually works well for awhile and then it seems to fall apart.

I have a friend in the foothills East of Monroe WA. She had challenging Dish connectivity and loves the Starlink connectivity. I've noticed a great improvement in our zoom connections.
Fortunately I've a great RockIsland LTE connection at my location.

Hi Jeff, I recently moved here as well, not too far from you. I just went through this process. For internet, I believe, CenturyLink is your only option. Matt Keune is the tech for the Islands and he is great. He is super nice. He will do whatever he can to boost your Mbps, but it'll be limited. CenturyLink said I would get 3Mbps but it is usually 9Mbps ... Read All

There's always Dish Network or Direct TV for television if you have a clear view of the sky to the southeast. I also live in the Islandale area and get 10mbps with Century Link but you must be farther down the road.

If you had a regular tv antenna you could get a few channels.
