Plant medicine is the birthright of every person on this Earth. Not so long ago, all of our people were working in reciprocal relationships with The Land to keep our own internal eco-systems healthy and in balance. These days folks are turning towards herbal medicine and holistic healing once again, but often in ways still rooted in the current fast-paced, disconnected, extractive culture. In this class we will delve into the story medicine of connectivity, relationship, and cellular memory of plant connection. We will slow down to listen to the plants and our own intuition. Participants will learn Old Ways practices including re-establishing relationships with plant ancestors, land connection, working with our lineages, and what reciprocity might look like in the Anthropocene. The focus of this class is to look at plant medicine beyond brown bottle dosages and to connect to our own, individual and collective herbal healing.
