The Lopez Island Family Resource Center
is looking to hire a half time Program Coordinator.
The position will be full-time in the summer months and 10-20 hours a week the rest of the year for a total of 1040 hours annually.
Job Overview: The Program Coordinator works with staff, children, families, community members, and supporting agencies planning and coordinating as well as carrying out important operational duties for a diverse array of programs that support healthy activities, life skills, and needed support for children, families, and individuals on Lopez Island. This work includes (but is not limited to) the following programs:
Lopez Summer Workshops
Employment and Life Skill Classes
After School Programs
Spirit of Giving Program
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities within a fast paced environment.
Excellent problem solving skills.
General computer proficiency including Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and registration software.
Attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Pay is $18 - $20/hour DOE plus vacation, sick, and holiday pay per personnel policies. Also includes health insurance benefits.
