I recently needed to set up an appointment for myself at our clinic. I also needed to ask a couple of questions about a few health issues that I have. Even though I was warned that I needed to enroll for the U of W, I did not realize that by calling our clinic number I would be connected to what was apparently a call center, located who knows where, and a man who was courteous but knew nothing about me or my medical history or family situation as they do at our Lopez Island Clinic. I immediately dropped any idea of trying to discuss my health issues with this stranger and made an appointment 3 weeks away though I would have liked an appointment much sooner. I asked the man if there was a way to call our local clinic and he said no. I guess if I need to ask questions I will now need to drive into town and go into the clinic myself? Maybe the information I was given was not accurate and there is a way to contact staff at our clinic? Does anyone know?
