The San Juan Island Family Resource Center organizes a variety of programs for children and their families.
The San Juan Island Family Resource Center is a drop-in, resource and referral center for members of the community who need assistance navigating their way in any of the social services systems in San Juan County. Targeted populations are families with young children, low to moderate income households, immigrant households, but services are open to all. All services are free and confidential. It is home to the county's Early Learning Consortium and the San Juan County First Book Advisory Board. Multiple programs are held year round to support community members who need extra care and assistance.
To make a positive difference in the lives of children, youth and families, primarily through professionally-supported relationships with trained and qualified adults, and to assist children, youth, and families in achieving their highest portential by providing committed staff, volunteers, and standards of excellence.
