Lopez LocavoresLopez Locavores began with the idea of serving communal Evening Meals at the Lopez School - a very simple idea that generated deeply sustaining ideals. During this year of COVID the Locavores are instead providing 100 Meals-A-Month for the Family Resource Center. In addition we are providing soups, stews, and gleaned fruit for sauce. This fruit sauce has been distributed to senior Meals On Wheels, school lunches, and Family Resource Center. In addition, last year we oversaw produce distribution from Lopez Gardeners to the community. Locavores also strive to support a number of diverse and interlocking interests that enhance the health and well being of Lopez Island. For more info please visit our website.
